Trailer Tip Tuesday
Whether you're clearing out fallen branches, hauling away yard waste, or transporting gardening supplies, knowing how to tie down your load effectively keeps the roads safe for everyone.
Here are some quick tips from Bar T5 Trailers & Tack  ⬇️
1. Always assess the size and weight of your load. This helps you determine how many tie-downs you need and where to place them.
2. Start by securing the larger items first. Use straps or ropes to create a crisscross pattern over the load, ensuring it's snug and won't shift during transit.
3. Secure the corners of your load with extra care. These are crucial anchor points to prevent anything from sliding off.
4. Lastly, give everything a good tug test. If anything feels loose, tighten it up and if not, it’s time to hit the road!
** Always remember to drive safely and keep an eye 👁️ on your load in your mirrors.
