Trailer tip Tuesday

Check your weight,

Try to reduce as much weight as possible on your trailer. The more weight you carry, the longer it takes to stop.
Go through your inventory and see what you can do without. Always ensure that it falls within the Gross Vehicular Weight Rating (GVWR) and towing capacity of your vehicle.

What is the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating? The GVWR refers to the maximum weight a vehicle is designed to carry including the net weight of the vehicle with accessories, plus the weight of passengers, fuel, and cargo. The GVWR is a safety standard used to prevent overloading.
